JOB TITLE Digital Marketing Coordinator

CLASSIFICATION: Contract

Please note: 1099 employees are responsible for paying their own income taxes.

TIME: 3-5 hrs per week 

This position has the potential to add additional hours in the future.

Purpose of Job

The purpose of this position is to:

  1. Coordinate and manage the agency’s social media.

  2. Coordinate and manage the agency’s website and search engine optimization.

  3. Assist in building and populating the agency’s contact (customer) relationship management system (CRM database).

  4. Assist in populating the agency’s contact list in Constant Contact.

This position reports to: Primary - Training and Resources Program Director; Secondary - Behavior Services Program Director

Position Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Familiarity and comfort with online work - such as searching for resources, downloading documents, networking online, etc.

  • Proficiency in using a computer and common computer programs (such as Outlook, Word, Power Point, Google Drive application, Canva, search engines, PDFs, etc.)

  • Proficiency in using a smartphone and phone apps

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to consistently file, track, and manage documents and data

  • Extensive experience with using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

  • Ability to manage and link social media accounts, create and schedule posts, respond to comments, strategize campaigns, and analyze social media data and engagement

  • Knowledge of search engine optimization and ability to improve optimization of the agency’s social media and website

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Moderate to advanced understanding of human sexuality and issues related to sex, sexuality, gender, relationships, consent, and boundaries (or willingness to learn)

  • Understanding of The Pyramid of Basic Human needs (or a willingness to learn)

  • Understanding of intellectual and developmental disabilities and neurodiversity (or willingness to learn)

Hours and Compensation

This position is 3-5 hours per week, working online.

This position has the potential to add additional hours in the future.

$18 per hour starting rate; wage increase open to negotiation after 3 months.

There are no scheduled hours for this position, the hours worked must be documented.

This position requires availability a minimum of 2 hours per week during the agency’s hours of operation (9am-4pm).  The position has some ability to negotiate these hours within our agency hours of operation, but once it is set any changes need to be approved by one of the directors in writing.

Principle Activities/Duties

Coordinate and manage the agency’s social media.

  • Manage, link and coordinate the agency’s social media accounts.

  • Post and manage the programs’ daily social media content and respond to comments.

  • Build online connections to promote the agency’s mission and services. Strategize social media campaigns.

  • Analyze social media data and engagement.

  • Optimize the agency’s search engine results.

Coordinate and manage the agency’s website and search engine optimization.

  • Check and fix links.

  • Assist with increasing traffic to the agency’s website.

  • Optimize the agency’s search engine results.

  • Potentially create new content.

Assist in building and populating the agency’s contact (customer) relationship management system (CRM) and contact list in Constant Contact.

  • Enter contacts into the agency’s CRM and Constant Contact.

  • Regularly audit the CRM and Constant Contact and update as necessary.

  • Research potential new contacts and collect and enter their data.

General

  • Maintain accurate and organized records.

  • Meet established deadlines.

Other duties as assigned.
