  • People have very strong opinions regarding the Anna Stubblefield Case featured in the Netflix film called, "Tell Them You Love Me". And the story is certainly loaded with fears, failures and fallacies. However, we need to recognize the lessons and truths this case does offer, including: 1. the critical role of communication for quality of life, 2. the ethical imperative for professional boundaries 3. the intersectionality of disability, race, religion, education, and class, and 4. a person's basic right to sexual expression.
