Katie McMahon is a dedicated professional with over 18 years of experience in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) community. She began her career as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and has since worked in various roles, including group homes, day support activity programs, and providing in-home support as a Personal Support Worker (PSW). Currently, Katie manages a community-based DSA program at MV Advancements and is a certified OIS instructor and CPR/FA instructor. She is deeply passionate about advocacy, empowering people to live their best lives, and training and developing Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Outside of her professional life, Katie enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, reading, crafting, and embracing the outdoors—rain or shine!
