Serena has been working in the field of supporting Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities since 2014. She also has an AAS-T degree in the Interpreter Training Program, and has familiarity with ASL – sign language. She is passionate about educating and supporting people proactively and in positive and productive ways. She sees a lot of value in providing ongoing teaching in order to promote choices that are safe, healthy, legal, and situationally appropriate. Doing this has the power to further autonomy and choice and to help all people to live their best lives!
