Proactive & Person-Centered Sexual Supports

The training was person-centered and the repetitiveness of the framework in the way that this topic was presented and viewed was very helpful. Having a variety of examples of how we can support people in healthy and safe relationships was very insightful.

Description:

We can (and should!) expect people who receive long-term support to seek romantic relationships and express their sexuality. When they do, it is important to understand how to balance safety with empowerment. Build a foundation of proactive, preventative strategies to teach people to make better-informed decisions. And, explore practical skills for supporting the relationships and sexuality of the individuals you support - from children to adults!
